Ultra-Wicked DJ Device Page

This invention will revolutionise your DJ set/live PA!!

What is it?
This device will allow you to finely control the tempo of all MIDI and SYNC24 devices to allow you to 'mix' your own beats/material into a DJ set.

You'll be able to make the device using the schematics I've put up. MIDI is allowed through a programmable logic chip (I'll uploaded the designs), but the SYNC24 only uses simple components you can get easily. With some minor knowledge anyone can build it, and it will be cheap.

The concept also has applications for sound-tracker artists who want to record external sounds into their compositions - in time and without bother. I guess MPC owners could use it too - as you can't play/record samples simultaneously on those things.

The Deal
All this info is provided on trust. Please don't rip it off and say its your work, or make money from it. You also have to email me if you use any of this stuff. This is just so I know if people are interested in the project.

This site is delibrately unprofessional as a reaction against the projects I have to do properly ;-> However it is just as descriptive.

Finally I can certainly say this circuit works - I built myself and I use it all the time. However if anything bad happens it's all your fault, and not mine.

Stuff

Technical
Infos for SYNC24: The chip I use to provide MIDI output is a special programmable logic chip called a CPLD. The technical terms disguise how easy these devices are to use: Other infos for MIDI:
